Connect a Navitas TSX3.0 Controller to Your EZGO TXT 48V

The Navitas TSX Harness for EZGO TXT 48V is the vehicle-specific wiring harness designed to connect a compatible Navitas TSX3.0 controller to an EZGO TXT equipped with the factory Curtis 1206HB controller system.

Designed specifically for 48V EZGO TXT electric golf carts, this harness provides the electrical interface between the Navitas controller and the cart's existing wiring system. It allows you to install a compatible TSX3.0 controller without building or modifying a custom controller harness.

Navitas identifies 40-000541 as the correct TSX harness for EZGO TXT48 applications and its wiring documentation specifically identifies the original controller application as the Curtis 1206HB.

Designed for Navitas TSX3.0 Controllers

The 40-000541 harness is intended for use with compatible Navitas TSX3.0 DC motor controllers, including:

  • Navitas TSX3.0 440A – 10-000766
  • Navitas TSX3.0 600A – 10-000685

 

Navitas currently lists both TSX3.0 controllers for the EZGO TXT48 platform along with this vehicle-specific harness.

This harness is a good choice when:

  • Installing a Navitas TSX3.0 controller in an EZGO TXT 48V
  • Replacing a damaged or missing Navitas controller harness
  • Completing an existing Navitas TSX controller upgrade

The Navitas wiring diagram for part 40-000541 shows integration with the TXT48's ITS throttle, pedal box, key switch, run/tow switch, direction switch, speed sensor, charger interlock, solenoid, and other vehicle connections.

Important Fitment Information

This harness is specifically intended for an EZGO TXT 48V equipped with the Curtis 1206HB controller system.

It should not be confused with the other Navitas TXT harnesses:

  • EZGO PDS 36V / Curtis 1206MX: 40-000512
  • EZGO DCS 36V: 40-000540
  • EZGO TXT 48V / Curtis 1206HB: 40-000541

 

Because EZGO TXT carts were produced with several different electrical systems, we recommend confirming the original controller before ordering rather than selecting a harness based only on the TXT model name.

This harness is not compatible with EZGO TXT Elite models. Navitas specifically excludes TXT Elite from the 40-000541 application.
