High-Performance AC Conversion for EZGO TXT

Take your EZGO TXT to the next level with the Navitas TAC3 850A 7.5kW AC Conversion Kit. Designed for 48V and 72V EZGO TXT electric golf carts equipped with the factory Curtis 1206HB controller, this complete DC-to-AC conversion replaces the factory motor and controller with a powerful Navitas AC drive system.

At the heart of the system is the Navitas TAC3 850-amp AC controller paired with a 7.5kW AC motor, delivering significantly increased torque, stronger acceleration, improved hill-climbing performance, and greater control compared with the factory drivetrain. The 850A configuration is especially well suited for modified carts carrying additional passengers, running larger wheels and tires, tackling steep terrain, or demanding more performance from the vehicle.

Bluetooth Programmable TAC3 Controller

Built-in Bluetooth connectivity lets you connect to the Navitas app from a compatible smartphone or tablet. From the app, you can monitor vehicle performance and adjust settings such as acceleration, speed, regenerative braking, and other controller parameters.

The app can also display useful operating information including:

  • Vehicle speed
  • Forward, neutral and reverse gear position
  • Battery voltage
  • Motor temperature
  • Controller temperature
  • System alerts and diagnostic information

 

The TAC3 also supports the Navitas On-The-Fly Programmer, sold separately, for convenient adjustment of performance settings while driving.

The TAC3 platform uses advanced 850A MOSFET technology to provide the power and response needed for demanding EZGO TXT builds. Adjustable regenerative braking provides additional control on hills, while rollback protection helps prevent unwanted movement on inclines.

Because EZGO TXT carts were produced with several different electrical and drive-system configurations, verify that your cart is equipped with a Curtis 1206HB system before ordering.

If you're converting an older 36V Series, DCS, or PDS TXT to 48V or 72V, additional wiring or conversion components may be required before this kit can be installed.
