Designed for compatible 48V and 72V Club Car electric golf carts equipped with Curtis 1510 or 1515 controller systems, this high-output DC-to-AC conversion replaces the factory DC motor and controller with a powerful Navitas AC drivetrain.

The system combines a Navitas TAC3 850-amp controller with a 7.5kW AC motor to deliver significantly improved torque, acceleration, hill-climbing capability, and overall performance. It's an excellent choice for performance-focused Club Car builds, including carts carrying additional passengers, running larger wheels and tires, operating on steep terrain, or simply demanding substantially more power than the factory drivetrain can provide.

Bluetooth Programmable TAC3 Controller

The TAC3 controller features built-in Bluetooth connectivity, allowing compatible settings and vehicle information to be accessed through the Navitas mobile app.

Depending on your configuration, the Navitas app allows you to monitor and adjust performance characteristics while providing useful vehicle information such as:

  • Vehicle speed
  • Forward, neutral and reverse position
  • Battery voltage
  • Motor temperature
  • Controller temperature
  • System alerts and diagnostic information

 

The TAC3 is also compatible with the Navitas On-The-Fly Programmer, sold separately, for convenient control over vehicle performance settings.

Club Car IQ / APPS Fitment

This kit is designed for compatible Club Car electric golf carts using factory Curtis 1510 or 1515 controller systems, including IQ and APPS applications. Depending on the vehicle's electrical configuration, compatible platforms can include Club Car DS, Precedent, Tempo, Onward, and other Club Car models equipped with the applicable Curtis system.

Important: Club Car produced these models with multiple electrical systems over the years. Do not order based on model or year alone. Verify that your cart is equipped with the appropriate Curtis 1510/1515 controller system before purchasing.
