Transform the performance of your Club Car with the Navitas TAC2 600A 5kW AC Conversion Kit. Designed for compatible 48V Club Car IQ and APPS applications equipped with Curtis 1510 or 1515 controller systems, this complete DC-to-AC conversion replaces the factory DC drivetrain with a powerful and efficient Navitas AC system.

The kit combines a 600-amp Navitas TAC2 CAN controller with a 5kW AC motor to deliver increased torque, stronger acceleration, improved hill-climbing ability, and greater drivetrain efficiency. It is an excellent upgrade for modified Club Car golf carts, larger wheels and tires, additional passenger loads, steep terrain, and performance-focused builds.

600A TAC2 Controller with Bluetooth & CAN

The included Navitas TAC2 600A controller features built-in Bluetooth connectivity and CAN communication, giving you advanced control over your Club Car's performance while allowing compatible components to communicate across the vehicle's electrical system.

Using the Navitas Dashboard App, compatible settings and vehicle information can be accessed from a smartphone or tablet. Adjustable parameters can include:

  • Maximum forward and reverse speed
  • Acceleration characteristics

  • Regenerative braking
  • Battery protection parameters

Club Car IQ / APPS Fitment

This Navitas AC conversion kit is designed for compatible Club Car electric golf carts using Curtis 1510 or 1515 controller systems.

Compatible applications include select:

  • Club Car IQ
  • Club Car Precedent
  • Club Car Onward
  • Club Car applications using compatible MCOR or APPS throttle systems

 

Important: Club Car used multiple electrical systems and throttle configurations across these model families. Verify your existing controller and throttle system before ordering rather than relying on model year alone.

This 5kW kit is not recommended for Club Car DS IQ carts. The 5kW motor is longer than the 4kW version and may not fit properly within the smaller DS frame. For Club Car DS applications, a compatible 4kW Navitas conversion kit is recommended.

Bluetooth connectivity allows the TAC2 controller to communicate with the Navitas mobile app for programming and diagnostics. Depending on your configuration, the app can be used to monitor vehicle information, adjust performance settings, and help diagnose controller or drivetrain issues.

The system also includes the Navitas On-The-Fly Programmer for convenient adjustment of selected performance settings directly from the cart.
