Electrical Requirements

This is a 12-volt lighting system. The kit must be connected to a stable 12-volt power source.

A voltage reducer is required or strongly recommended for 36-volt and 48-volt electric golf carts unless the cart already has a suitable regulated 12-volt accessory circuit. Connecting the light kit directly to full battery-pack voltage can permanently damage the lights and wiring components.
